Crazy Cool Sky | Minneapolis St. Paul Photographer

We had a pretty scary night last Saturday.  We were at my mother’s pool all day and we started to head home early evening knowing storms were on the horizon.  We stopped for dinner quick thinking we had time before they actually arrived.  Well we did make it home, but within 2 minutes of walking in the door the sirens were going off.  There were 75 mile per hour winds and a tornado touch down within 10-15 miles of us.  So we hunkered down in the basement and waited it out.  Our trees were literally horizontal and part of our fence broke, but other than that we were safe and sound.  Little man was so brave his Daddy and I were quite proud of him.  Well the pictures below are a result of the calm, beauty after a scary storm.  These skies were so cool I had to capture them!  It started off this intense weird greeny-muted orange color and then turned into these brilliant orange, red and pink skies.

My favorite picture! Love this sky!

Well one of my neighbors had her little boy July 7th .  He is the sweetest little boy!  Such a snugly sleepy baby.  My other neighbor Robin who is also a photographer and has a very awesome home studio set up in her basement.  Well she asked me if I wanted to come help her and shoot with her for Kori our neighbor and her little boy Hank.  Of course I said YES!  :-)  So these sweet captures of little Hank are from that session.  Congrats Kori and Aaron he is BEAUTIFUL and has the most amazing little features.  He is simply darling.  You are a blessed family of 4 now!  :-)

Sprinkler Fun | Minneapolis St. Paul Family Photographer

My little man and my big man had a super fun sprinkler day at the end of last week.  So of course I had to capture some of the fun moments!  I can’t believe how BIG my little man is getting and how LITTLE my big man got as he ran through the sprinkler with his 4 year old son.  :-)  For a moment I had two little boys instead of one, while they stuck their faces and bottoms in the sprinkler and did silly tricks.  It was so much fun to watch!

RSL | Minneapolis St. Paul Senior Photographer

My little bro agreed to let me take some “Senior” pictures of his this last Sunday.  He avoided this at all costs for about a year now, so I finally got him to agree!  :-)  What a great little brother.  I also wanted toplay around with my new lens that I purchased recently and also check out a new location right by my house that my friend Robin told me about. She is also a very talented and creative photographer!

The textures at this location simply ROCK!  Any up coming session feel free to request this location!   We ended up having a great time and got lots and lots of great pics for our parents!  Yeah us!  ;-)  I can’t believe that my little brother is graduated from High School and has turned into an amazing young man with a beautiful heart.  I could not be more proud of him for the hard work and effort he has put into all that he has done in this last year!  He is truly an amazing example of persistence and hard work paying off.  On top of the fact that he is uber smart and I must say pretty darn handsome if I do say so myself!  Whatever very lucky lady that ends up with him better treat him right or she will have to answer to me…lol!   Any who enjoy rents more to come for you guys soon!  And thank you Scoot for playing along with me!  I love you!
